Dam:
Vaudeville
was a well known show mare by the TB Tudorville, himself
a winner on the flat and over hurdles, and out of
a Skippy mare. Tudorville sired eventers including
a 3DE winner.
Double Take has had 3 foals, and has gone in foal
to one cover each time, only missing one year. She
is currently in foal to Primitive Proposal, who is
by the legendary Primitive Rising, due at the end
of February 2010. She has won in the show ring, being
Champion at Moreton in Marsh as a youngster and Newport
at only four years old with her first foal at foot.
She was also 5th at The Royal Show and 4th at the
Three Counties the only times shown as a youngster.
Her foals have all been bay or brown, and her first
foal, by the TB Classic has recently been broken,
delighting his owners with his forward approach to
life and is aimed at BYEH classes next year as a four
year old.
Her second foal by the WBS stallion Monte Carlo was
2nd at Shropshire County and 2nd at the SHA National
Championship Show. Her next foal is bred with Eventing
in mind and is sure to be a high class foal, Primitive
Proposal having won the Progeny Group at the SHB(GB)
National Championship Show on more than one occasion,
as well as having evented himself.
Her Demonstrator filly, foaled 25th February 2009,
is well grown and being retained as a future broodmare.
Double Take loads, travels, is good with farrier,
vaccinated and has had her first EHV injection.
